Boko Haram: Secret police declares ex-soldier wanted
The State Security Service (SSS) on Wednesday declared an ex-soldier, Habibu Bama wanted for alleged crimes against the state.According to a statement signed by the Deputy Director, public relations of the security service, Marilyn Ogar, Mr Bama is an ex-soldier, who is Kanuri by tribe and hails from Bama in Borno state.
She said that Mr Bama is also known as Habib Bama, Shuaibu Bama and Habib Mamman.
Members of the public with any information that could lead to his arrest are therefore implored to immediately contact the nearest police station, military formation or any other security agency.
The Nigerian security operatives have in recent weeks collaborated in the arrest of some key members of the fundamentalist sect, Boko Haram that has been staging bomb attacks across the country.
